Before your order

I placed an order last year, do I need to sign in first?

We suggest you do so, especially if you don’t remember your password. You can get a new password before starting the whole process. Otherwise, you will enter your login and password at the checkout page.

I have ordered last year but I don’t remember my password.

Click on Sign in at the top of the site then enter your email in the Lost Your Password box. If your email is in our system, you will receive a new password immediately.

I have more than one list to order. How do I proceed?

It is possible that your school has divided the school list into several parts if your child is enrolled in a specific program or option. The same is true if you have children attending another grade level or even another school. If this is the case, once in the page of the first school list, proceed as follows:

  • Put the first list in the cart, then click on the option For the same school or For another school.
  • Put the new list in the cart then complete the transaction.


My school or grade level is not listed, what can I do?

Not all schools send us their lists, unfortunately. We also publish new lists online regularly, especially in the first two weeks of July.

From Mid-July (date to be determined)

It will be possible to send us your list by email; we will publish it online quickly and let you know when it's available (usually within 2-3 days). We accept lists of most CSS in the Greater Montreal area.

When ordering

The list says 10 Duo-Tang but I already have 4. What should I do?

Just change the quantities in your cart.

  • Transfer the required list(s) to the cart with the original quantities;
  • Click on the shopping cart icon at the top right of the site, then on Modify and validate. Make the changes here, click Modify and Validate to save your changes, then click Proceed to Checkout.

I want to replace a product on the list with another brand or another colour. What should I do?

We suggest that you first transfer the list to the cart, click on the cart icon at the top right, then on Modify and validate.

  • Remove the product from your cart (or modify the quantity) and click on Modify and validate to validate the change.
  • Once this step is completed, you can go anywhere on the site, pick the new product and add it to your cart. 

Can I add other items?

Of course. Once your lists are transferred to the shopping cart, you can shop any other product and add it to the cart. It will be added to the content of the cart. This will be the case if you wish to add a backpack, a lunch box and any other personal items to your order, for example.

Are there any fee to pay?

We charge a preparation fee for all school supplies orders since preparing a complete school list requires additional resources and set-up for our business. Otherwise, you will have the options of picking up your order in one of our stores or have it delivered to your home.

Preparation fees (according to the value or the order):
  • Less than $50: $3.95
  • $50 to $74.99: $4.95
  • More than $75: $6.95
Store pick-up
  • Store pick-up is free. You can come at anytime once you have been noticed the order is ready to pick up.
Home delivery
  • A $10.95 charge is applied to the order.

Note that preparation and delivery costs are applied per order. They are therefore the same if your order contains several school lists. It is advantageous for you to place a single order for all of your children's school lists. You will only pay preparation and delivery fees once.

  • Preparation and pick-up costs in store (Repentigny or Joliette). The total costs are therefore $6.95 for an order over $75;
  • Preparation and home delivery costs. The total charge is $17.90 for an order over $75.

 

After the order

How soon is my order ready?

The time depends on the volume of orders to be processed and your location. As a general rule, unless an item is temporarily missing, you will receive your order within 10 working days.

When can I pick up my order in store if I have selected pickup?

You absolutely must wait to receive an email telling you that the order is ready so that you don't have to go to the store unnecessarily. The order is not necessarily prepared in the store you have selected.

What happens if an item is missing from my order?

Your order is put on hold while we receive the missing item. You are notified by email that the order is on hold. When the missing item is available again, we will complete your order. You will receive a notification that your order is ready to pick up in store or will be delivered, depending on the option you have selected at checkout.

Recommended: accepting replacement items

In the registering form, it is possible to indicate that you accept replacement items. We will then substitute any missing item with another that we deem similar, in terms of features and price. Our team will contact you in the rare event that a missing item does not have an immediate substitute.

Back to school is approaching and an item is still missing...

This type of situation occurs mostly when the publishers have fallen behind in the delivery of school books and novels, even if these have been ordered several months in advance. In mid-August, we contact all customers whose order is still pending due to a missing item to offer you different options.

Am I notified when the order is ready to pick up or shipped?

Absolutely.

  • For in-store pickup: you are notified by email that the order is ready; you can then pick it up at the time of your choice;
  • For home delivery: you will receive notification that the order has been shipped by Canada Post with a tracking number (Montreal and surrounding areas) or by our delivery team (in most other regions). 

 

What happens if I am absent during delivery?

If you know your vacation dates, you can put them in the registration form, so we can schedule a delivery accordingly.

Canada Post leaves a card at the door indicating that you can pick up the package at one of their drop off points.

Our drivers usually call before coming to your home. You can contact us immediately if you are unable to attend. We will move the delivery day at your convenience.
